6 Ways To Style Your Favorite Tee
One thing I’ve always loved is a cute graphic tee. I tend to dress the same way I decorate…in all neutral colors. It makes it super easy to mix and match pieces, but it sometimes makes my wardrobe look a bit bland. So I love a good graphic/text tee that allows me to switch things up a bit while sticking to my favorite color palette. Almost all of my go-to tees are from Chris Loves Julia's Propertee line. I love how soft the Propertee shirts are and haven’t had any issues with shrinking. I have a few shirts and a sweatshirt from the collection and all of it has held up extremely well after multiple wears and washes.
My favorite tee from the collection is their original HOMEBODY shirt. The ‘homebody’ slogan obviously rings true for me—y’all know I love being in the house—but it’s extra relatable now with coronavirus forcing everyone to stay inside their homes more than usual. I wear my HOMEBODY shirt literally all the time, for practically any occasion. I’ll dress it up with a dress or pants for work, which makes “looking the part” of an interior designer that much easier. Or throw it own with jeans and sandals. It seriously goes with anything. Scroll through for my six favorite ways to style this top—or any favorite tee from your closet!

summer style
For a casual, everyday look that’s perfect whether your running errands, traveling, or hanging with friends, pair your tee with a pair of cute look-alike Birkenstock sandals, these $15 high-waist shorts, and an oversized leather tote bag. My favorite bag is only $99 at the Coach outlet, but you can get a very similar, even more affordable one here!
boss vibes
Dress your tee up for work by tucking it into a pair of wide leg, high-waist pants. I love patterned bottoms to give the look a bit of fun and flair. Throw on a pair of heels and a lightweight blazer and you’ll have the perfect first-day back to the office post-quarantine look!
sporty spice
It’s no secret that I love the Spice Girls (I even named my dog after one!), so this Sporty Spice look has my heart! Tie your shirt in a loose knot and pair with slim black joggers and classic white tennis shoes for a super chic, sporty look. Extra girl power points if your sneakers are platforms!
relaxed sophistication
Loose fitting tees look great layered over a midi-length bodycon dress! Tie the tee in the front to show off the form fitting silhouette of your dress and pair with a head wrap and heels for a look that’s perfect for a day at the office and drinks afterward.
Date Night
This black denim skirt is one of my closet go-to’s because of how versatile it is! It looks great dressed up or down, but really shines when you mix the two. I styled this outfit with sleek, Yeezy-style sock booties and my favorite camo jacket for a cute date night outfit perfect for hitting 6th street.
Casual Friday
Simple, casual, and laid-back—this is how you’ll catch me dressed most often. These high-waist jeans are my absolute favorite and the first ones I reach for whenever the day calls for denim. Throw on chunky flatform sandals and a stylish leather fanny-pack for a cool, 90’s inspired look.
