Round mirrors have been trending hard lately and I’m crushing on them even harder. I love the look of a round mirror to help break up all of the hard lines and edges in a modern space. It’s important to add a little variation in shapes when decorating so the room doesn’t come off as too harsh.
Too many straight lines can make a space feel cold and unwelcoming, kind of like living inside an art gallery. Pretty to look at, but not cozy in the slightest.
One of my favorite things about round mirrors is that they look great in basically any room and there are so many different ways to style them. If you’re placing the mirrors above a piece of furniture, like a console table or dresser, add decor to the top of it to create a beautiful vignette. Lamps, flowers/plants, and books are perfect items to start with.
Short on space? Add a floating shelf underneath the mirror to save floor space, but still have a place to add decor. In an entryway, you can also hang an over-sized round mirror above a bench to operate more like a full length mirror. Or use them in a bathroom to switch up the style from basic to trendy, or over the fireplace to add style to your mantle.
